DS Construction is passionate about the environment and we strongly believe that building and green construction is synonymous with building to last. I think that Lake Tahoe Builders have a bigger responsibility than builders practically anywhere else because of the fragile nature of the Tahoe ecosystem. (see “Lake Tahoe, An Endangered Resource”)

Our integrity does not allow us to waste anything. If you can make something that will last and endure time then this means that it will not need be rebuilt. Things which are disposable are inefficient in all respects, be it to the wallet or the environment.

We always try to find a green alternative for any material or component in the construction process and regardless of the product, we always think about building to last.
